Banque de Luxembourg sponsors the fourth edition of the Mind & Market Forum
Steeve Gresse, Head of Digital & Mobile Banking at Banque de Luxembourg, talks about the fourth edition of the Mind & Market Forum, which was held on 3 December at the Maison du Savoir in Esch Belval, Luxembourg.
What does this initiative involve?
S.G.: The Mind & Market Forum is an initiative aimed at young project owners who want to develop an innovative, modern or transformative product. It is designed not only for project owners who already have a project under way, but also for creative people wishing to develop a concept or turn a promising idea into a reality. Mind & Market offers them the visibility and support they need to take it to the next level.
Projects are not limited to the Luxembourg market or FinTech, but cover all sectors of activity, including sustainable development, social interaction, health and artificial intelligence.
The Mind & Market organisers (Deloitte, Luxinnovation, University of Luxembourg and Luxembourg National Research Fund) are joined by a number of sponsors and partners who offer practical support ranging from the loan of premises to training and legal advice.
Why does Banque de Luxembourg sponsor this event?
S.G.: As an active player in Luxembourg, the Bank is keen to help develop the country’s financial centre. Innovation, in the broad sense of the term, is already playing a key role in this. The Mind & Market Forum, which is designed to promote innovation and research in Luxembourg and in turn develop the financial centre, is therefore the perfect fit for us.
Can you tell us more about the project that received the Banque de Luxembourg award?
S.G.: The Banque de Luxembourg award was given to Luxembourg start-up Nyki, whose mission is to make private tutoring available to all children in the interests of achieving genuine equality of opportunity. Nyki will now have a training budget to use with Luxembourg’s House of Training.
